DaviD WALLER BERTONI

David is a lawyer, screenwriter, and musician/composer (and founder of the mysterious band of 1970s cartoon rejects, Mighty Manfred & the Underdogs) who lives in Maine with his wife, Angela.  David went to college in upstate New York, and appreciates Maine for its comparatively modest snowfall and moderate temperatures.  His screenplays have won national competitions, including a Gold Medal in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards and Best Screenplay from the New Hampshire Film Festival.

David's legal career began in Washington, DC, working on complex white collar criminal investigations involving the world's largest defense contractors and military black programs.  In the decades that followed, David also developed a national legal practice defending online sellers in high stakes privacy class actions across the United States.  He teaches Complex Litigation at the University of Maine and was selected to be a fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America.
